Motorcar Equipment from Louisiana to Texas
August 2007

This equipment recently came to my attention as being available. The current owner was able to save the equipment from the scrapper's torch back in 1996 at about the time of the UP/SP merger. Owner had plans to restore the motorcar to operation, but like many of our plans, a real job and family commitments have long delayed progress on this restoration.

An offer to donate this equipment to a historical group did not come to pass, and the owner was considering scrapping the equipment himself when I made contact with him. An arrangement was made for the acquisition of the equipment, and a 1000 mile round trip from Greenville, TX to Houma, LA was executed to pick up the equipment. See the remainder of the images for additional commentary.
