The St.Louis Southwestern (SSW) or Cotton Belt Railroad crossed the Southern Pacific at Plano, Texas. The Cotton Belt maintained a motorcar shed in Plano just across from the Depot adjacent to the diamond.  In April 1978, SSW 6434 was one of the occupantas of this dual bay speeder shed.
