Malone was served by the International & Great Northern (I&GN) Railroad and the Trinity & Brazos Valley Railway. Both tracks have been abandoned for decades. In 1953, the I&GN depot at Malone was relocated to the town of Hubbard to become the Parish Hall of St. Albans Episcopal Church, where it remains today.
